Project Vladivostok LNG

Major project executed in 2016 was the project for services provision for design documentation development, FEED and STR for primary construction of Vladivostok LNG. The Client: JSC “VNIPIgazdobycha”, company registered in the Russian Federation, a part PJSC “Gazprom” group of companies and prime contractor for the Vladivostok LNG project.
   Upon the services provision results on this project design documentation successfully pasted internal expertise and state expert review. Design documentation sections comply with all requirements established for capital construction projects.

Design facility:
•   Natural gas liquefaction plant (LNG plant), including LNG plant production storage facilities;
•   Equipment, technical and service lines, located at the offloading terminal access bridge (export terminal topside).
The project has great significance for the development of the eastern part of the Russian unified gas supply system and gas delivery growth on the markets of the Asia - Pacific Region countries, including Japan. Regardless the fact that Japan is on the 4th place in the world for energy consumption, the country practically does not have its own energy recourses and it is the major LNG importer in the world, the country’s LNG import is almost 100% of the gas consumed.
  The project envisages construction of LNG plant in the Vladivostok region (Primorski Krai) with not less than 15 MTPA LNG train capacity. The first 5 MTPA LNG capacity train is planned for commissioning in 2018. The recourse base for the plant will be gas from Sakhalin (Sakhalin- 1 and Sakhalin-  2 projects), Yakutsk and Irkutsk gas extraction sites.
The company’s role primarily limited to:
•   Coordinating and liaising with sub- contractors;
•   Project administration activities, e.g. managing compliance with RF regulatory requirements, including tax control;
•   Liaising with the client in relation to project progress and coordination matters;
•   Bearing and managing contractual risks associated with the project (to the extent they have not been passed through to the sub•  contractors and other parties).
